And thanks to Lorena and Timmah for hosting such a nice little Oscars get together last evening! Had a mahvelous time, Dahling. Though I should have gotten all gussied up and worn my possum stole. Maybe next year.
In life news, my new job is going *fabulously*. I like them, they like me, couldn’t get better. And Chris’ new employment opportunity seems to be going nicely as well. The Den of Iniquity is starting to come together now that Chris got a computer desk and the ‘home theatre’ is all set up. Now we need to get a phone line running down there and get the DSL installed.
Also on my list of things to do is get into the secret garden and clean things up. Then buy some new plants and brighten it all up a bit. Laura gave me a handful (read: around 30) of four-o-clock sprouts and they have all taken nicely to their new home. I planted them at the edge of the back deck in a place where I hadn’t really thought to put flowers before.
Paid off Lucius this weekend and brought him home. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy to finally have a shotgun in the house. And what a cutie he is! #50359 here: http://www.mossberg.com/pcatalog/Specpurp.htm
