I got so. Much. Done. Yesterday!
Believe it or not!
After lunch I cleaned off my desk. I have had so much work to do, I was just throwing papers on my desk and not paying attention to them until it was critical that I do so. Of course by that time, the papers were buried by other papers. This shows how long this paper tossing mania has gone on: by the time I got down to my desk-pad-calendar, I saw that the calendar was still on August. Bye-bye September! Sorry I missed you!
Now things are neatly tucked away into stack trays, organized by urgency. Once I got that done, I was able to step back and really concentrate on one thing at a time, without having all the mess staring at me from my desk, distracting me and pulling me into all sorts of directions.
I am on the road to organizational recovery. It’s a tough road, but I’ve got a nice, comfy bed onto which I may lay my head at the end of each day’s road.
