Idyllic Chick

Chris is in Jacksonville. He'll be there all week for some training classes, and I'll be here in G'ville. Boy, this house seems big already. I've hit a few of my friends up for meals so that I won't starve while my personal chef is out of town. Lawd knows I'm past the point of being able to fend for myself, especially since mac'n'cheese isn't on the diet menu. But I'll get to see him on Wednesday. I'm leaving work early, and heading to Jax to kiss my sweetie and celebrate Chelsea's birthday. I don't have to be at work again until noon on Thursday, so I'll stay over and see C off to school. It's going to be interesting leading the bachelorette life again, if only for a couple of days. I'm curious to see whether I go crazy fixing and decorating things around the house, or just flat out veg on the couch all week. Hopefully, I'll find a healthy balance of each.
