Happy New Beer!
I mean, *year*.
Had a lovely NY Eve, having dinner at dinner with J&L, then moving on to 'Aunt' Gay and 'Uncle' Joe's annual countdown celebration. Unfortunately, at about 11:30pm, the cold medicine that I took had a fistfight with the couple of beers that I had drank. I felt like crap, and it was all I could do to hang on until midnight. Chrises, bless his heart, took me home and took good care of me. I'm still pretty sniffly today, but the cold is clearing up.
Today Will and Casey and Moya came back through town, and we got to spend a longer amount of higher quality time with them. Had lunch at Sonny's, then went to the park. Charlie, Will, and Chris put on a great juggling show, and the kids had fun on the swingset. It was like Will and Casey lived in town again, and I miss them now more than ever. I'm pulling for Will to get a swanky job in Orlando designing VR rides and such, so that they can be close enough for us to visit regularly.
C&I are in Jax tonight on our way to Savannah for the weekend. I haven't been to Savannah since my and Katie's whirlwind tour of Georgia over spring break in, say, oohhh, 1991 or 92 or so. We enjoyed the place, and I'm looking forward to getting a residents tour (Chris's dad lives there.). We're going on the haunted bar tour tomorrow night! W00t! It's going to be a great weekend!
Oh. Have I mentioned that my hair is now fuscia?
