Idyllic Chick

The house is so quiet. The boys are all at the football game. Chris' mom and step-dad were here for a while, but they are gone now too. The power was out for a half an hour or so early this afternoon, so Chris' computer is off. I never realize how much white noise the two of our machines expel until they are off for a while. The pups and I are all looking veerrrrry sleeeepy, so a nap might be in order soon. The house is perfectly tidied since we knew we were getting company. This is sooo nice. I mean, this is just really, really nice. Maybe I'll knit or read until I fall kerplunck into the bed with the dogs. Man, I do loves me some weekends.
