My Weekend Thus Far
I've found that I've been using my Fridays off to run a lot of errands. Which turns my seemingly long luxurious day off into a scramble fest. What I wonder is when did I do these errands when I worked on Fridays? I know I don't do as much after work as I used to, so maybe the evenings that I would have otherwise done an errand or chore or two are adding up into one Friday. Dunno, but I'm kind of tired of it already.
-----------
Chris' company holiday party was last night, and lemme tell you, those bio-implant folks know how to party down. Cocktail hour with munchies, open bar all night, killer mashed potatoes, and karaoke to boot! It was a lot of fun to get dressed up and go out. I was quite happy to realize that at the age of 38 I've finally learned how to put on make-up well! Congratulations to me!
-----------
As I was pulling out of my parking spot the post office on Friday, a cute geeky boy in a Superman shirt was looking at my car. I get that pretty often, and enjoy it. I'll smile or nod or whatever, and move on with my day. But dude waved me down. I stopped and rolled down my window. 'Do you mind if... um... I take a picture of your car?' Mind? Hell no! Most flattering thing that happened to me all day. Shit, reminds me I need to renew my tag pronto. I don't remember getting a notice in the mail this year (Should have gotten it in August), so I didn't even think about it until Chris noticed our expired tags last week.
------------
NaBloPoMo - I missed two days of blogging in November, but I enjoyed the experience! I'll most likely keep trying to at least post a sentence or two most every day, if only to keep in touch with my bloggerly side.
