Who am I kidding?

What the hell made me think that after working a 10 hour day I would be in the frame of mind to graft cabling for the first time in my life? Someone smack me next time. So no further progress on Rogue last night, nor will there be any tonight. My new plan is to it up on Sunday morning. You can bet there'll be photos!

Since there is no more knitting to do on the sweater, I was able to begin a new project: the second baby hat for Chris' foot. Once again, what made me think that it was a good idea to knit socks for a man's size 13 foot on size one needles? Someone smack me next time! The toe up method that I'm using (The Easy Toe from Sensational Knitted Socks) for the first time requires a provisional cast on, then you pull off the cast on thread and slide your empty needle into the open stitches. The teeny tiny open stitches. At least I'm not using black yarn.
