Finished Objects
I've been way too lax in posting my finished objects lately. Since I mailed two of them off earlier this week, I should do come catching up here, don't you think? I'm going to split up the posts so that I can link to them individually from the sidebar.First up are the upside down Monkey Socks.
Pattern: Monkey Socks, but I knit them from the toe up so the pattern is upside down. I used Brenda's favorite toe/heel combination and I absolutely loved it. I used Elizabeth Zimmerman's sewn cast off that I first heard of from Cookie A on Knitty Gritty. I figured it was her pattern, so I'd try her suggestion on a bind-off, and I loved it!
Yarn: The Great Adirondack Yarn Company's Soxie in Coconut Joe, 100% merino superwash wool. I'm not sure where I picked this up, but guessing from the colors it might have very well been at Chez Casuelle, since I always fall in love with something bright and happy there.
Needles: Size 2 DPNs
Began: March 10, 2007
Finished: Sometime around March 20-30, I'd say
Labels: Knitta please
