Gryffindor Bookscarf
Pattern: Harry Potter Bookscarf, very tiny knitting! Very very tiny! When I first saw this pattern I knew I had to make it for my friend, Chrissi. She received it in the mail today, and she said, 'you are just too fabulous for words!!! this is the greatest gift, ever!!!!! i love it in so many ways....how'd you get so sweet??!! it's perfect...and just my size!!!'I'm glad she likes it. She deserves things that make her happy. =)
Yarn: More like string. DMC #5 Pearl thread (100% cotton) in 498 and 783. I guess these were more movie colors than book colors. Bought it at Jo-Anns and had plenty of other colors from which to choose.
Needles: I bought a set of aluminum sock needles at JoAnns in various sizes. I ended up using size 0. I don't even wear size 0 jewelry in my ears! Gads. Anyhoo, to make matters more complicated, the chosen size of needles was color coded red. Just like the string I used to knit the bookmark. Yeah, I used a lot of good lighting for this one. It was a lot of fun, though! I would totally knit this again.
Began: April 13, 2007
Finished: June 10, 2007. Most of it was done earlier, but I procrastinated on putting the fringes on.

I absolutely love this! What a great idea. Just might have to add this to my "things to knit" list.
