Purple Bunny!

Pattern: Jess Hutchinson's Bunny. Fun, quick knit! I don't know if I'm cut out for the making of the stuffies, though. I think I'd rather make a garment. I do want to try the hedgehog first, though, before going through with such broad statements. Betharoopie always has such fun with that one!

Yarn: Mission Falls 1804 Cotton. Cosmos colorway. Gifted to me from Lorena. Thanks Lorena! The project didn't even take the entire skein. I like working with this yarn a lot! It's plied with thread, which lends a bit of roughness to the finished project. It makes the bunny look kind of primitive, and would give nice texture to a sweater. I have another skein of this in the same color, and am anxious to use that up!

Needles: Size 6 dpns. After I started the stuffing, I realized that I might have should have used a smaller size needles, as the you can see the stuffing, especially in this photo.

Began: June 17, 2007

Finished: June 18, 2007. Probably the fastest thing I've ever knit.

I made this for a friend's unborn baby. Not sure if the friend comes by here much, so I don't mind showing it off. It was a fun little knit! Oh, also shown in the photo is the beautiful quilt that my wonderful mum-in-law made me for my birthday last year. My family-in-law fucking rawks!

What an awesome quilt. Love, love, love the colors. The bunny looks good too. It is a quick knit but I hate sewing things together. I was in a rush when I sewed mine together though so maybe that was my problem. I'm digging that purple color too.
