Bugs and Bunnies at the SOL
I've been having great fun photgraphing flora and fauna in my yard. It's amazing to me that all of this neat stuff is within a few feet of my doorstep!
Ooo! Oo oo, I think she's back!
So my mama bunny R-U-N-N-O-F-T. But last week Chris told me that she'd been digging again. The hole was empty for a couple of nights, and just when I had given up on her, she filled it full of grass again. I've been putting a leaf on the grass to see if she visits the hole, and it looks like she is! Hoping for baby bunnehs. Hoping for baby bunnehs. Hoping for baby bunnehs. Hoping for baby bunnehs.

Hair of Pink
Thank you for all of the nice comments on my fancy pink hair! I love it to death, and plan to marry it when Chris dies. I want to respond to a couple of the notes.

I think you look a little like Angelica Houston in that picture! She should def dye her hair pink- it looks GREAT!
Smilcher, that is totally the highest compliment I have ever received! Except for that time that a beautiful drag queen envied my hair. That gave me a huuuuge head!

If I ever decide to dye my hair a color other than brown again, you are SO helping me.
You know I will totally help you with that! But please don't use these lovely locks as a gauge of my hair dying capabilities. It's... well, it's a wig, folks. If I could successfully turn my dyed-to-the-bone orange/red/purple hair into that pure white and cotton candy pink, I would in a heartbeat. I love it. And I will wear this wig whenever I can!

OH, oh indeed I do, my friend! ;) When is your birthday? I'll wear the wig and raise a pint to you!

Boy how you have changed your look in less then a month!!!! What did you do to your hair? What kind of party did you go too?
Yeah, I can clean up pretty good for the family, can't I? =) We went to a high school graduation party. And that story gets a whole post of its own!

Wrabbit Update
As per my bunneh plan, I placed a twig and a leaf over the bunny hole in such a way that I would know if it had been disturbed. And it wasn't. For a couple of days. It didn't look like mama bunney had come to feed her babies! So I went digging. I pulled the dry grass out of the bunny hole. I dug and dug! The bunneh hole is deep! I came across some of the fluffy fur that mama had pulled out of her belly to keep her tiny babies warm and toasty. And then there was more grass. And then... ants. Tons of ants! Running around like crazy and carrying eggs in their mouths. Ants, ants everywhere! And not a baby bunneh to be found.
I'm so sad! I wanted baby bunnehs soooo baaaad! But Chris is happy because it's easy to water the lawn again. Damn mama bunneh.
